Whether working with anesthesia providers in Cambodia, supporting a dermatologist in Uganda, or mentoring oral health providers in Nepal, HVO volunteers work to ensure better access to skilled, safe, and compassionate care for patients across the globe through the education of the local health workforce in resource-scarce countries.
Our volunteers and supporters envision a world where everyone, everywhere has access to quality health care. We will achieve this vision by working together to invest in the education and professional development of health workers in the countries where care is inaccessible to those in need.
