"Imagination" | 1st Place | Dr. Darren Smith | Small buckets which would be overflowing with water on a rainy day are, on this dry one, the subject of wonderment for this little girl.
"Monk-eying Around" | 2nd Place | Dr. Darren Smith | Taken in a monastery courtyard. Here one young monk-in-training tries to give another a lesson on the Noble Truth of Suffering. His playmate is not quite ready to receive it and dodges a kick to the rump. Kids will be kids, no matter the garb!
"Lighting Candles" | 3rd Place | Dr. Michael Ackland | This little girl was at Anghor Wat lighting candles as part of her faith.

Humor
1st Place: “Funny Idea” by Dr. Susan Kidd
2nd Place: “Still a Good Knee!” by Dr. Sam Baker
3rd Place: “Mulago 2019 Baboon” by Dr. Viviane Leuche
I didn't take many pictures of patients and staff while I was on my volunteer placement in Bhutan. However, I took a few and I love this series of three. It shows a trainee physio assistant, who had all the attributes of gentleness and kindness combined with curiosity, who was sitting in on clinic, learning developmental assessment by playing with a toddler with delayed language development . The paediatric team are small and stretched, and much developmental support for families is from the extended allied health professionals, such as the marvelous paediatric physio team in Bhutan. The connection, smiles and humour around this little girl's joke and imagination by making glasses for her father out of the stacking game was a fleeting moment of perfection. She was asked to complete the stacking but had other plans……, a great educational vignette for social communication and imaginative play development! - Dr. Susan Kidd
