MyHVO – formerly known as the HVO Knowledge Network – is a library of vital information for volunteers, overseas partners, and HVO leadership. Volunteers can find information to prepare them for their work abroad. For our partners overseas, this is an excellent depository of education and teaching materials. HVO leadership can access essential information to stay informed about project sites.
For every HVO project, MyHVO contains: a detailed project description; background materials about traveling abroad; previous volunteers’ reports, hints, and suggestions; volunteer lectures and notes; and copies of site-specific curriculum. There are even resources on global health and international development trends, enriching member knowledge and understanding of the importance of education in global health improvement.
